COVID-19 Information and Advice

Dear People of Donway Baptist,

Our prayers go with all those who are sick and quarantined through this time. In light of the ongoing concern regarding COVID-19 and because the health and safety of our congregation is a priority, the following information and advice is being offered to the people of Donway Baptist Church.

  1. All our services and gatherings are continuing as planned. Any changes will be communicated via our prayer link, the church website or Facebook page.
  2. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or if you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, for the sake of others in the congregation, please remain at home. Those who are unable to attend worship can download the morning message from the church website.
  3. Until this outbreak is contained, please practice safe social distancing and refrain from shaking hands during our gatherings. You can greet each other verbally, with a nod, a bowing of the head, or a wave. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the church.
  4. Until this outbreak is contained, the after church coffee hour will be cancelled.
  5. We welcome you to join us for worship should you wish to join us. If you feel safer at home, our prayers and blessings are with you.
  6. The leadership of the church continues to check the recommendations of all levels of government regarding the health of its people and will respond accordingly.

Sincerely,

The leaders of Donway Baptist Church
